SVG靜止無功發(fā)生器應(yīng)用場合：

 凡是安裝有低壓變壓器地方及大型用電設(shè)備旁邊都應(yīng)該配備無功補償裝置（這是國家電力部門的規(guī)定），特別是那些功率因數(shù)較低的工礦、企業(yè)、居民區(qū)必須安裝。大型異步電機、變壓器、電焊機、沖床、車床群、空壓機、壓力機、吊車、冶煉、軋鋼、軋鋁、大型交換機、電灌設(shè)備、電氣機車等尤其需要。居民區(qū)除白熾燈照明外，空調(diào)、冷凍機等也都是無功功率不可忽視的耗用對象。農(nóng)村用電狀況比較惡劣，多數(shù)地區(qū)供電不足，電壓波動很大，功率因數(shù)尤其低，加裝補償設(shè)備是改善供電狀況、提高電能利用率的有效措施。

SVG靜止無功發(fā)生器應(yīng)用優(yōu)勢：

1、補償方式：國內(nèi)的無功補償裝置基本上是采用電容器進(jìn)行無功補償，補償后的功率因素一般在0.8-0.9左右。SVG采用的是電源模塊進(jìn)行無功補償，補償后的功率因素一般在0.98以上，這是目前國際上最先進(jìn)的電力技術(shù)。2、補償時間： 國內(nèi)的無功補償裝置完成一次補償最快也要200毫秒的時間，SVG在5-20毫秒的時間就可以完成一次補償。無功補償需要在瞬時完成，如果補償?shù)臅r間過長會造成該要無功的時候沒有，不該要無功的時候反而來了的不良狀況；

　　3、有級無極： 國內(nèi)的無功補償裝置基本上采用的是3—10級的有級補償，每增減一級就是幾十千法，不能實現(xiàn)精確的補償。SVG可以從0.1千法開始進(jìn)行無極補償，完全實現(xiàn)了精確補償；

　　4、諧波濾除： 國內(nèi)的無功補償裝置因為采用的是電容式，電容本身會放大諧波，所以根本不能濾除諧波，SVG不產(chǎn)生諧波更不會放大諧波，并且可以濾除50%以上的諧波；

　　5、使用壽命： 國內(nèi)的無功補償裝置一般采用接觸器或可控硅控制，造成使用壽命較短，一般在三年左右，自身損耗大而且要經(jīng)常進(jìn)行維護(hù)。SVG使用壽命在十年以上，自身損耗極小且基本上不要維護(hù)。
